The full-time enrollment figure for the combined master's and doctoral programs is typically between 400-410 students.
Tuition & Fees
Financial Aid
The School for Social Work seeks to provide educational opportunities for students knowing that many of them will require financial assistance. The financial assistance of the school consists of grant and loan funds and is awarded based on need. Through the generous support of alumni and friends of the school, endowment funds have been established that are explicitly used to support students through scholarships.

Library Holdings
More than 1.4 million items. Special-subject libraries for the fine arts, the performing arts and the sciences; distinguished collection of women's history manuscripts; nationally prominent rare book collection; largest liberal arts college library - larger than many unversity libraries.

Technology Resources
Networked PCs and Macs; multi-user UNIX servers; several academic resource centers and departmental computing clusters. Campus-wide wifi. All student rooms are wired for Internet access and cable TV.

Housing
Housing during the June to August academic sessions is available on campus in mixed-gender or single-gender dormitories. Limited off-campus housing is available through private arrangement. (The school regrets that we do not offer housing to accommodate animals.) During the field internship sessions, housing arrangements must be made by students; costs vary by region.

Alumni
There are nearly 5,000 alumni of the school, residing in 50 states and 19 foreign countries. Together they form a vast network of skilled professionals providing leadership in a variety of social work settings including family service agencies, mental health centers, child welfare agencies, schools and hospitals. They are a vital and professionally involved group with a strong commitment to the school and to the profession of social work.
