Professor Megan Harding Presents Keynote at School Summit
Senior Lecturer and Chair of Policy Sequence Megan Harding, M.S.W. will present the keynote address, "If ALL means ALL: Designing Schools to Meet the Mental Health Needs of All Students" at the 8th Annual Safe & Healthy School Summit.
Harding will provide context for what students are experiencing both inside and outside schools across Massachusetts and the country, and will discuss how schools can be organized so that the mental health needs of all students are integrated into curriculum, supports and tiered services. This keynote will invite participants to consider a justice-driven, multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) framework when thinking about innovative social-emotional and mental health interventions in schools across the region.
The Safe & Healthy School Summit is an annual conference on how to integrate mental health supports in primary and secondary schools to address chronic stress, anxiety, and other issues facing students. To learn more, visit their website.
