2-4 p.m.: Check-in for students moving in early. 
Pre-registration is required. 
Students must take a PCR test on Friday morning between 9 a.m.-noon.

Learn more about the offices and services at Smith College to support students during the summer including: the Library, the Office of Equity and Inclusion, the Office of Disability Services, the SSW Writing Program, the Lazarus Center, the Schacht Center, the Center for Religious and Spiritual Life.​
Grab some friends and join the #SSWScavengerHunt. Clues will be posted on the @smithcollegessw Instagram account and will guide you to several locations across campus and downtown Northampton. Create your unique team hashtag, tag your photos with #SSWScavengerHunt and you could win lunch for you and five friends.

The Norwottuck Branch of the Mass Central Rail Trail is an 11-mile paved path linking Northampton, Hadley, Amherst and Belchertown along the former Central Massachusetts Railroad Company right-of-way. The path's level terrain provides safe passage for pedestrian and wheeled users of all ages, types and abilities. Don’t have a bike? Smith College students are eligible for a discounted membership to ValleyBike, an electric-assist bike (Pedelec) rental service with 14 pick up/drop off locations throughout Northampton and more throughout the Pioneer Valley.

10:30 a.m.: Hike up Mt. Tom 
Join current student and SSW Student Ambassador McCambridge Dowd-Whipple for a visit to a local hiking spot at Mt. Tom. The hike will be 30-40 minutes uphill to a firetower with a nice view of the valley, then 20 minutes back downhill. Hikers should wear comfortable footwear (sneakers would be fine, no sandals) and bring water. You may want to bring sunscreen/bug spray/snacks. Meet at the picnic table between Lilly Hall and Seelye Hall. Departing campus at 10:30 am to return by 12:30 pm.

Please join us for the Networking Event for Students of Color in the Neilson Browsing Room! We'll kick-off the event with introductions to the Council E-Board, Faculty Liaisons, and Administrators of Color. The rest of the time will be yours for informal networking! Food will be provided. (For students, faculty, and staff of color)
