Lead the Conversation!
We invite you to share your expertise at the Deepening Clinical Practice 2026 Conference on Friday, July 31, 2026!
This year’s program will showcase the breadth of clinical approaches supporting diverse communities and engaging with critical questions in practice.
Send us your proposals for in-person, 1.5-hour breakout sessions on topics such as:
- New and emerging theories or practices
- Integrative use of multiple modalities
- Innovative and targeted interventions
- Approaches to culturally-responsive care
To reflect the wide range of experience among attendees, we welcome sessions at all levels, whether geared toward those building foundational skills, practitioners deepening their work, or advanced clinicians engaging with cutting-edge practice.
Proposals should align with Smith College School for Social Work’s Core Principles.
Compensation is $450 per session and includes conference attendance and continuing education credits. On-campus housing may be available but regrettably, we cannot offer travel reimbursement.
Priority consideration will be given to those who submit proposals by December 1 date.
If your course is selected, you will be notified no later than January 31, 2026. If you are not contacted by this date, please assume your course was not selected this year. The conference is taking place on July 31, 2026 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. on the Smith College campus.
