Biography

Audrey Zwick is a Brooklyn-based, bilingual Spanish-English psychotherapist specializing in play therapy, adolescent therapy, parent guidance, and psychoanalytic psychotherapy for adults. She brings extensive experience from diverse mental health settings, including major NYC hospitals and outpatient clinics. Her clinical services encompass individual therapy, family therapy, parent guidance, and comprehensive psychosocial evaluations.

Audrey holds an M.S.W. from NYU Silver School of Social Work and a B.A. in human development from Cornell University. She has provided integrated mental health services across diverse settings—from elementary and middle schools to pediatric clinics and GED programs. In addition to direct practice, she supervises graduate social workers.

Currently, she maintains both a private practice and serves as a staff clinician at NYU Langone Brooklyn's Family Health Center. She has completed advanced training through a three-year certificate program in child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the William Alanson White Institute and is an advanced candidate at both the Psychoanalytic Institute of the Contemporary Freudian Society and the Anni Bergman Parent-Infant Program.

Her research interests include incorporating psychoanalytic theories into qualitative research design. She is particularly interested in early parent-child dynamics and the mutual influence of observer and observed.
