Have you engaged in conversations about charged sociopolitical issues that feel like echo chambers? Would you like to practice engaging in conversations where you can attend to differences in perspectives and a more nuanced understanding of power dynamics? The Critical Conversations (CC) model is a framework that encourages us to deepen our presence, expand our critical awareness, and strengthen our skills of reflection, listening, naming, and discussing experiences, issues, and questions toward transformation and focused action individually and collectively. This session will provide an overview of the CC model and an opportunity for practice.
