Congratulations again on being accepted into the Advanced Clinical Supervision Certificate Program! To signify acceptance of our offer of admission, we are asking students to submit a $300 tuition deposit by credit card below and to read and agree to the terms of this Learning Contract.Program InformationThe Supervision Certificate program is comprised of three related sessions; each session builds on the content of the previous session and requires the full participation of all students.Term I: July 17-21, 2023 The first term will be on-campus and the in-class instruction period includes three classes which each meet daily, Monday – Friday. Attendance at all classes is required. If for some reason a student is unable to attend a class session, they must contact the instructor in advance and request permission; an assignment will be designed to cover missed content. Students cannot miss more than one class session during the first summer session. Classes can not be earned for classes that are missed.Term II: September 2023 – June 2024 Beginning in September, students will “meet” electronically once a month. Using the 2 class breakout groups utilized in the summer Integrative Seminars, each student will take a turn posting a case in the electronic classroom (Moodle). All colleagues in the group are required to enter into a conversation about the posted case through video conference using Zoom. These videoconferences will take place on Monday evenings, 7 EST: Exact dates TBD. Further, each student will take a turn acting as the discussant for each conference call by posting a written summary of the discussion to Moodle after the fact - to identify themes in the case, make links to concepts, and to reflect on how the case and discussion reverberated for them in their learning and their work. If for some reason a student is unable to participate in the monthly call, they must contact the Practicum instructor in advance; an assignment will be designed to cover missed content. All students are required to post a case, to participate in the monthly Zoom discussion, and to provide a written summary of one conference call; a student may not miss the conference call more than once.Term III: July 15-20, 2024 The final on-campus, in-class instruction period includes three classes which each meet daily, Monday – Friday.
