Biography
Valerie Nguyễn Hooper is a proud first-generation college (and graduate school) graduate. As a former educator in the private and public school sectors, Hooper is committed to education access and is particularly interested in research topics pertaining to first-generation college and graduate school attendees, Asian Americans and multiracial folks in higher education settings and the experiences of professional women in higher education.
