Practitioners and scholars are invited to share their expertise at the Deepening Clinical Practice 2026 Conference on Friday, July 31, 2026!
"We hope this year’s program will showcase the breadth of clinical approaches in use to support diverse communities and engage with critical questions in practice," said SSW Director of Alumni Engagement Katie Potocnik Medina. "If you are exploring new modalities, we encourage you to submit a proposal!"
The conference planning committee is reviewing proposals for in-person, 1.5-hour breakout sessions on topics such as:
- New and emerging theories or practices
- Integrative use of multiple modalities
- Innovative and targeted interventions
- Approaches to culturally-responsive care
To reflect the wide range of experience among attendees, sessions at all levels are welcomed.
"We hope to see submissions that are geared toward those building foundational skills as well as towards practitioners who are deepening their work, and advanced clinicians engaging with cutting-edge practice," said Potocnik Medina.
Compensation is $450 per session and includes conference attendance and continuing education credits. On-campus housing may be available. We cannot offer travel reimbursement.
Priority consideration will be given to those who submit proposals by December 1, 2026.
