Maddy Neely began working at Smith College in 2009 in Development; and has been with the School for Social Work since 2012. A student affairs professional, she feels fortunate to work with and support the incredible students at the SSW. Maddy enjoys collaborating with colleagues across campus and has served on Smith’s Staff Council in various leadership roles over the last 10 years. 

Originally from New York City, Maddy loves living in Northampton with her husband and daughter. She is a board member of the Northampton Center for the Arts and delights in immersing herself in creative and artistic projects. She has a special fondness for jewelry making, photography, collaging, singing and theater.
