Diana Huynh (she/her), LICSW, PMH-C, is a clinical supervisor and therapist at a group practice based in Rhode Island. She holds a BA in English with a minor in Psychology from Tulane University and an MSW from Smith College School for Social Work. Additionally, Diana is certified in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International.
With over 11 years of experience in the field, Diana has worked with adults across various levels of care, including inpatient and partial hospitalization programs. She has pursued additional training in supervision and has been supervising interns and provisionally licensed clinicians throughout her career. Diana is passionate about education and finds great energy in supporting others entering the field of social work. While her primary role is supervision, she also maintains a small caseload of clients. Her clinical work focuses primarily on perinatal mental health, supporting families as they navigate the complex experiences of family planning and transitioning into parenthood.
Diana's approach to therapy and supervision is rooted in the belief that everyone is unique. She emphasizes building strong rapport as the foundation for effective relationships. Drawing from a diverse range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Attachment Theory, and Narrative Therapy, Diana tailors her therapy and supervision to meet the specific needs of each person.
