Lorelei Erisis is dedicated to making the application process more personal and stress-free for prospective M.S.W. students. Originally trained as an actor, Erisis performed improv and comedy for a number of years at The Second City in Chicago and Los Angeles. A proud queer, trans woman, Erisis has applied her theatrical training applications to the pursuit of activism and advocacy for LGBTQ equality specifically, and human rights generally.

Erisis is heavily involved in helping secure protections for LGBTQ folks at the state and national level, including the full suite of transgender civil rights laws enjoyed in Massachusetts. For the last decade, she has written the popular newspaper column, “Ask A Trans Woman” for The Rainbow Times
