Planning for summer 2021 terms

Dear SSW community,

I am writing to let everyone know that we are beginning the process of planning to bring students and faculty back to campus for summer 2021. We want to make clear that there are many variables we must consider as the pandemic continues to impact the world. All of our decision making will always prioritize health and safety above all.

With that said, there is reason to be hopeful that some or all students will have the opportunity to return to campus. In the coming weeks we will be examining what we might be able to offer in person versus what may need to remain remote. We also anticipate giving students some choice based on their circumstances.

We are fortunate that our decisions will be guided in large part by the college’s in-person experience during their spring 2021 term.

We anticipate having a clear plan by early February. I will be sending additional updates as they become available.

Sincerely,
