The SSW Office of Alumni Engagement is pleased to be hosting the SSW Alumni Dinner at Grace’s Mandarin on March 1 at 6:30 p.m. during this year’s American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA) Connect Annual Meeting.
“I’m excited to be with all the SSW alums attending AGPA,” said Director of Alumni Engagement Katie Potocnik Medina, LCSW. “This conference has such a great turnout of Smithies. Hosting this gathering to reconnect is going to be a treat.”
The dinner has been organized by alumni Kurt White, M.S.W. ‘03 and Paul Gitterman, M.S.W. ‘94 since 2017 and usually welcomes 20-30 SSW alumni, making it one of the largest alumni events on the east coast. Regulars of this annual meet-up will often share photos of their gathering with Potocnik Medina and Dean Marianne Yoshioka after the event. This year, Dean Yoshioka and Potocnik Medina will be able to take their own pictures as they join in-person for the first time in several years.
Said Potocnik Medina: “If you’re a Smith alum attending the conference or in the neighborhood, come join us for some fun!”
