Unifying and Committing to Our Agenda for Change

To each and every valued member of our community

I am writing to acknowledge the painful impact of the exposure of faculty communications and divisions that have come to light through the anonymous email sent last night. I want to reiterate that every one of our students is valued by our School even when we are in times of disagreement.

The faculty and I are taking on the charge to interrogate how we as a faculty and as an institution are living and applying our anti-racism commitment. This work is moving forward. It will be spurred by the energy that student actions have generated. Our commitment to change is steadfast.

We hear and see your pain and anger. It will not be for naught. What is most important through these times is that we work together in critical dialogue and action to bring institutional change.

On behalf of the administration and resident faculty
