Biography

Arianne Napier-White, LMSW, is a clinical social worker with experience in diverse mental health settings, including hospitals, city government, and community mental health. Grounded in Black feminist wisdom, Arianne’s work centers the experiences of Black communities, particularly those navigating end-of-life care, chronic illness, and the complexities of trauma, grief, and loss. She is committed to integrating social justice, emotional resilience, and community healing in her practice. Arianne currently serves as an adjunct assistant professor and the director of M.S.W. Practicum Learning at Smith College School for Social Work, where she mentors future social workers in incorporating feminist and anti-oppressive frameworks into their practice. She holds a B.A. from Simmons University and an M.S.W. from Smith College School for Social Work. A proud Brooklynite, Arianne currently resides in New Haven, CT.
