In order to ensure compliance with Massachusetts’ mandate on health insurance coverage, all SSW students are automatically enrolled in and billed for the School’s health insurance plan. If you have separate coverage, you may waive enrollment.
Waiving the School’s Health Plan
If you have equivalent coverage, please complete the following steps to waive summer coverage (effective June 1, 2021 - August 31, 2021):
- Create an account.
- Once your account has been created, click the “I want to waive” button.
- Complete the waiver form (you will need your current health insurance information).
- Save your confirmation number.
In July, students will receive plan information and be auto-enrolled with the option to waive annual coverage (effective September 1, 2021 to August 31, 2022).
