Mailing Address
All SSW students, including those who live off campus, will be provided with a Smith College mailing address, including a unit number. This unit number does not correspond to a physical box. All mail and packages are delivered to students via the package locker system located on the lower level of the Smith College Campus Center.
How to use the package lockers.
For mail to reach students, items must be addressed as follows:

It is very important that the correct unit number be put on all mail and packages. Incorrect unit numbers will delay the time it takes for students to receive mail and packages. You can find your campus address via Workday.
Shipping supplies to campus
You may ship supplies to campus before the start of the summer term. Mail Services will begin accepting packages for SSW students 1-2 weeks before the start of Term 1. In order to ship supplies in advance, you must know your complete mailing addresses, including the unit number.
Ordering books online
Please remember that most book vendors send books out using Media Mail mailing class. Media Mail can take up to 2 weeks for delivery or 2-8 business days.
Changing your address
If you choose, you may change your address with the United States Postal Service to have your mail redirected to Smith College during your time on campus. You can do this online at usps.com or at your local post office. Be sure to use zip code 01060 for this purpose.
If you'd like to change your address from Smith to another address at the end of the summer, please visit the United States Post Office and complete a Change of Address form. Change of address forms are also available at Mail Services. You may also accomplish this by emailing Mail Services at mailservices@smith.edu and providing them with that information.
You cannot use the Post Office’s online change of address form to change a Smith campus address to another address at this time.
